New LEGO Sets Have Arrived!

Great news for those of you waiting for the new LEGO Castle and Mars Mission theme sets; They're here. You can now go to www.lego.com to order these sets before they arrive at retail locations. Of the Castle sets; Skeleton Tower and King's Castle Siege are available for immediate ordering; Skeletons' Prison Carraige and Knights' Catapult Defense are available for pre-order to ship on May 22nd; Crossbow Attack is available for pre-order shipping May 28th; and The Final Joust is available for pre-order shipping June 15th.

Of the Mars Mission sets; all sets are available for pre-order, shipping between May 22nd and May 29th. Enjoy!

Allow me to announce the reason for our gathering today - our 'Birthday Cycle' continues with... Amanda! Today, on the 11th of April, our dear Sculpting Expert was born! We wish her lots of inspiration, tons of sculpey and, of course, a wide array of new Bricks as presents!!! The Fine Clonier is hosting a contest!

With the opening of Jared's new site (still located at www.fineclonier.com), he is sponsoring a contest to create vignettes to show off his decals.  Winners can receive vouchers for decals as well as have their winning creation featured on the site as a preview image for his decal categories.

The contest asks you to create a vignette using at least 3 figs and at least half of the figs MUST sport his decals.  The categories available are the categories of decals he sells: Space Wars, Superheroes, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Stargate, WWII, Misc, Doctor Who, Castle, All, History and TV/Film.

Beginning with Eve the Necromancer, Schvatts has been constantly surprising the community with his amazing Guild Wars customs. His passion for this game is soon echoed by armothe and vidgamer838 who are able to channel their wonderfully creative energy into some equally wonderful customs in this field. Finally, having been lazy for too long, a Guild Wars entry has been set up in our custom minifig database and in there you will find many other excellent creations. Thank you and enjoy!

Castle 2007!!

A new image has surfaced from this czech website of the new 2007 Castle set. While the skeletal horses that have gotten us so excited previously are nowhere to be found on this new picture, the castle itself does look fairly impressive and would appear as if Lego is going back to a more 80'ish classic design instead of the Harry Potter-esque facade-oriented concept. The new dragon and rider are also highly reminiscient of their Duplo counterparts, perhaps Lego is attempting to find a way to cross the two themes?

Here comes MS: Gundam

To celebrate Megabloks acquisition of the license of MS: Gundam (which should be hitting the shelves fairly soon), the all new custom Gundam Minifig section on MCN has been launched! Among my favorite is Char Aznable whose helmet represents one of my newest and proudest creations. Your comments, as usual, are highly appreciated!
