Theer is a clone brick company that makes American football figs, I don't remember what the brand is, but its the US Government stuff that you find in the military base shopping centers.  I guess you could call it the military brand.  ANyway, they have helmets.

Don't know what to tell you, but not all clone bricks are bad, many are good for their accessories.  I do not suggest using the actual bricks though.

You will also notice that it has a spell checker.  We all need to make use of it.

Cut the lower piece (the one under the visor) of the standard helmet ald you'll get the main part. The face protector will be trickier, though...

Could use a KK2 visor, if chopped up, with the standard space helmet that UA suggested.

I would use red bean's battle armor for pads, or you could also use sculpey.

Just one breath... incase that's all that is left...

I suggest using the hockey body armor.  It comes in two colors, easily decaled to show seperate teams.

yeah I also thought to use hockey body plates. And when I said ask recluce I meant for all of your casting information. Did you use fimo soft or fimo classic? because at first I used fimo classic and decided it wad rubbish but then my mum got a load of fimo soft, for sculpting stuff And she let me have some and It is much better.

Monophoton over at FBTB made this football stadium, and he used the NHL hockey armor also... hope this inspires you.

Ok, here's the trick to finding the hockey armor....

Most of the bricklink sellers don't seperate it from the fig.  So, find a store that has the hockey fig for sale, write to them and ask if the armor is included on the fig.  If so, then you get the armor, and some extra minifig parts to customize!  And probably even a helmet and visor, too.

I know the pics don't show armor, those are stock photos, that's why you have to contact the seller and ask.

Hmmm..... I like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, and some others.  But, I'm a chick, so maily I like the ones that A) Have cool looking uniforms and look good in them, or B) are the local teams of where I have lived.

You should be able to do a net search on any of the teams I mentioned above to get pictures.  Also, there are usually 2 or 3 different uniforms styles to each team; home, away, and alternate.   Alternates are usually black, home will be a dark or primary color, and away is usually white.  Hope that helps.
