Heigh ho, heigh ho. To make your troubles go...

Apparently, our prayers have been heard:
So what if the goblin swords are a little outlandish, we're finally getting dwarves!! A goldmine to fantasy fans indeed even if the set seems more like an ironmine than a goldmine. Join our discussion of the set here. RB |

New Products from Cobi / Best-lock
| Submitted by Redbean on Fri, 06/23/2006 - 23:02. | |
A few months ago, Cobi (which is mainly active in Eastern Europe) and Best-lock (which is the 3rd largest construction toy company in USA) announced a merger that aims to solidify their competitiveness in the global toy market (see the news here) and as user pacman110011 was kind enough to report, the first wave of their jointly designed products have begun to appear in the US.
Although not typically known for their quality, in the past, both Cobi and Best-lock have enjoyed immense popularity among customizers for their wide range of minifig-compatible accessories, which fill in nicely the theme-gap that remains untouched by other leading brands. Their recent merger, as result, should only bring good news to the customization community and we eagerly await what the future will unveil for these two popular brands. Please join us in our discussion of their products here. |

Ok, they're not exactly minifig compatible, but mini-mates are neat and this DVD movie happens to be something which is very well-done and interesting. So do check out the trailer by clicking on the image if you have time: RB |

Holy Batman!!!
| Submitted by Redbean on Wed, 10/26/2005 - 16:57. | |
The good people of Eurobricks have done it again by bringing us news of Lego's new Batman line in 2006. Let's just say we can't wait!
Please note that this picture is only a CG generated conceptual image of the product. To see how Batman might actually turns out, you may refer to Red Bean's custom version for the time being (which was made before any knowledge of Lego's announcement!!!). And if you're not too speechless afterwards, why not join us in our discussion of this new line here? |
