DECAL REQUESTS ACCEPTED WAR LORD

Hi Warlord and welcome to MCN!

A few things if I may, "Decal Requests Accepted" topics would go here in the "WIP, Decal & Customizing Chat" section not in "Site Feedback". To correct this you should click on the "Edit" tab above and use the pull down menu to change the location (currently "Site Feedback"). Secondly, before people start asking you to do decals for them they'd like to see what you can do. Edit your first post and while changing locations add in a pic or two (see the rules for the size and amount of pics allowed per post).

Beyond all that, good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hey War lord, do you have any decals of yours we can see? What's happened around here a lot is kids come in and make MS Paint decals for members that ask.
Problem is, it's kinda faux pas to ask in another thread when you're unhappy with the decal you've gotten, so they're saddled with crummy designs.

The problem is most people have other than MS paint. Like what DareDevil offers Serif Draw Plus. Also there is a program a friend of mine found called GIMP. Go and Find it it should help. Good Luck with everything!

Okay War Lord, I'm going to get yelled at for this (Mods, please overlook this transgression this once) but I'm hoping this may help you out a bit:

1- You need a decal pic to show people how good (or, sorry to say, how not good) you are at doing decals. Don't take offense to what I wrote in the parentheses, first off, MS Paint is not the best medium for doing decals (unless you're Lamanda2), secondly, some people are better than others at art- I don't know what you're capable of yet.

2- Regardless of what CarzyPink wrote, you don't have to be a veteran to be taking Decal Requests, but you do want to be good at it though. As for his second sentence- I have no idea what that was supposed to mean

Finally, War Lord, since you said you don't know what to do, how about trying a decal of your own avatar to show everyone what you can do? It looks like a knight so if you do a good job, others may want to download and use it, plus since it's your Avatar, you might be better aquainted with what it looks like and may be able to get a better detailed decal for it (or not). Then you can use that as your "resume" and post it above. It may help you, it may hurt you, but since you want to be able to take decal requests from people, it'll give them something to judge your work on- BTW, expect criticism ; ) .

EDIT: My apologies for misquoting/misunderstanding CarzyPink concerning the veteran remark, what I was referring in any case was that it doesn't matter if you're new to decalling or have been doing it for quite some time- if you (read: "anyone") have a talent, you have a talent, newbie or seasoned vet. But, if we haven't seen what you (again, "anyone" who wants to take decal requests) have ever done we don't know how good an artist you are- in which case I can agree with CarzyPink's vet comment.

Well, Well Warlord, Get your imagination working and start thinking about what to make man! This is all about Lego+brain=imagination!
As Peter_Nix said, MS paint isn't that good of a medium unless of course you are the most honorable Lamanda2. Bye the way I don't mean to be so offensive but Please try to make yourself a bit more understandable when you type because it is important for us to get you. I don't mean to be mini-modding though but (this isn't just referring to you), new members please read the rules, please, PLEASE!
