I'm new, so I might have got turned around. So, the decal/customizing chat area is not the place to chat about decals?

Or did you refer to the search question? I can edit that out, and just discuss the Escape from New York decals. I just don't want to be the new guy that looks like he's padding his post count.

if you want to discuss minifig MOC's (My Own Creation) based on escape from new york put it in brick talk, if you have a decal based on said subject or want to put a request out pur it here, if you have any questions put it in the how to question place.

But I think this should go in the brick talk though I'm not totally sure as it's quite difficult to diffine...

Anyway don't worry about being the new guy we've all been there :D

John has it right. This isn't a sub-forum just for decals, although it can seem like it at times. Just try not to worry about where to put stuff. 95% of the time you'll get it right. If you really have a tough time, you can PM one of the staff, they'll help you out.

Let Moderators do their job. We appreciate when members try to help each other out here, but often times it simply confuses the issue. Telling others where to post, when that information is not solicited, is 'mini-modding' and is against our policies. Let us handle it. And of course, PM a Mod if you think something needs to be handled and we haven't yet.

That said, this is the correct forum for the OP's question. The 'Questions/Tips' board is for questions concerning the actual process, not whether or not it has been done before. This board is the correct one for general chatter about decals and designs. The board delegations can be confusing, so don't worry too much. Try your best to put topics in the correct place. If you make a mistake, we can always just move the topic to the correct board for you. No worries.

Snake Plissken rocks the socks. I am not aware of anyone having made a decal of him yet, however. At least not that has been posted to this particular website. I'm still toying with the idea of making a Plissken minifig when my new version of Corel arrives, but I haven't decided if I will do New York or L.A. Snake.

As for the Search function - yes, it can be a little buggy. I don't use it much myself, but I don't believe there's any 'better' way to search. Hopefully that feature will be refined somewhat when the website gets its next update sometime in the near future. Any technical issues like that can be directed to 'Ramus' - as he is our tech-guy and very friendly and helpful.
