Here is Hefty Smurf from the popular 80's cartoon. The hat is a wizard's hat that has been filed down and painted white. I drew the lines to give it a little more shape. The bar-bells are also custom from Lego pieces. The tattoo is a decal. The face was hand-drawn with a marker. The legs were painted white. I thought using the shorter legs better represents the proportions of a Smurf.

Here's my entry; Teknoman Blade from his namesake anime series. I only used some sticky stuff and paper to put those sharp things and the red bit on his helmet, the rest is just Lego. He's bigger than normal humans in the series when he transforms, so I made him really big (for a mini).

And if you don't know the series, here's the opening theme (one of the best parts of the show);

phew, I finished him in time.
Ladies and gentlemen, from the spongebob squarepants cartoon show, here's the most stupid sea creature of all: patrick!
Patrick Star is a very dumb seastar who lives under a rock. Spongebob asked him to build a stable for his seahorse... only to let the confused Patrick stare into the unknown with a plank in his head... Never ask Patrick for a service :D
onto the pics:

Patrick breaks up in head, torso, hips, legs and arms. Accesoires are a plank with real nail in it and his hammer.
Here is the reference pic: http://megapoxy.net/free/cartoon/patrick.gif

Tanotrooper
EDIT: yes, his belly is really sticking out, as his back, so it aint a normal torso. He is a nice chubby minifig :D

Well, here’s my entry for the contest: Cobra! From the 80’s cartoon series: Space adventure: Cobra (and the movie with the same name)
And I must say that I’m quite miss pleased about how the figure turned out to be. I had some great plans for this figure and although we have all had quite a long time to finish our figures, I didn’t manage to make everything (on the figure) as I wanted (because the lack of spare time).
First of all is the issue with the sideburns. They are just prototypes and should be looking way better then the ones on the photo.
And then Cobra should be holding his “right arm”, in his left hand (yes, and I don’t mean the psycho gun, you who have seen the cartoon knows what I’m talking about).
The face decal is just a prototype and the real one should have been more sharp and detailed.
There should have been a torso decal.
But even if I feel like I’m publishing an “unfinished” figure, I must say that I am quite satisfied about the result of the arms and the psycho gun (there is a lot of work in there). I’m also proud of the face decal. Although the decal is a little bit blurry and just “a prototype” I must say that it catch the look of Cobra.
And the cigar? Well I just had to add it…
Sometime in the future I hope that I will have the time to finish the figure so he looks the way that it was meant to. And if I do so, I promise to publish him ones again here on MCN.
P.s To all you moderators and judges: I have had this entry confirmed/allowed by DD via a P.M.
