hiya Legolover.. Welcome to MCN

Well, you've come to the right place. We can help you become the customizer you want to be.

A couple of things about working with paint:

1. Work Large - get a template you like, and blow it up to about 600x600 pixels (for torso's only - use bigger for torsos + Heads + Capes).  better yet, use a different bmp for each one.

2. Use thick lines. Thicker lines will show up better when you print, 'specially if you are working large.

3. Work carefully, clean up any stray pixels left over from cutting and pasting.

4. Be Patient. This stuff shouldn't be rushed - even if you have a great idea. I have ruined more than one fig by not waiting for the paint to dry, the glue to dry, the putty to set, whatever. :-D No one is immune to the "can't wait to show this off" bug.

I think what you have done so far is good for what you are using. Paint is tricky to work with, and you usually have to do it pixel by pixel if you want it to turn out the way you want. All of my earliest work was done using paint. I can see I am going to have to write up a tutorial. :-)

There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.
