Hey Vid, I suggest that you chat with Armothe because he was thinking about putting his stuff on Flickr. I was chatting with him a few weeks ago about how Brickshelf wasn't approving some of his images. Armothe I know you're on right now, so maybe you can add your input. Don't mean to intrude lol

Whats the size limit for uploads on Flickr?

Free accounts have a limit of 5MB per picture. You have an allowance of 100 MB per month when you have a free account. The list is updated. Depending on how useful people even find this, could we possibly sticky this?

How can you add people as your friend?

What do you mean exactly by per month? such as each month you get another 100 MB, so after two you have 200, and three 300, etc. Or something else?

It doesn't stack like you are saying. When a new month begins, you get 100MB of photo space. Once you upload all the 100MB in photos during that month, you can not upload any more pictures. When the next new month begins, you're allowance of 100 MB is reset, and you can continue uploading.

I've had a pro flickr account since... well... before brickshelf was shut down. I stopped using brickshelf 3 months ago. I get my Pro flickr account for free because I use the Att/SBC Global/Yahoo broadband internet, so if you use that you shoud get a free pro account too.

When you have a pro account you have unlimited amount of photos, bandwidth, and you can have 10mb per photo.

I heard of this thing called brickimage on eurobricks, that is supposed to come up the day after brickshelf goes down, I believe.
I don't know anything else about it though.

Brickshelf is back up now, but I think I may use brickshelf and flickr. There are things that I like about both.
