Gordon Freeman

by Viking Maniac (Minifig MOC's)

Hi everybody!

Well he is finished now, delayed because my printer broke but none the less finished. I have made a crowbar for him, I just prefer the revolver. Speaking of that it is by Brickarms.

Deepie

C&C welcome as usual.

Your choice of head is nice! The decals turned out superb, but printed they lose some of their 'wow' factor. The legs, I noticed, were too small to begin with, and I think that hurt the look of the figure when printed and applied.

Looks good overall!

Jeez, thats quite some work there the torso looks great. I couldn't give anything else as I have no clue to who he is but a very official looking creation. I too agree with Vidgammer the legs are a bit standoffish.

That's what I wanted to add, there is a somewhat lack of definiton between colours maybe add some thick bold lines in much the lego standard.

Gordan Freeman for the win!
Oops, didn't mean to say that out loud...
Great job, the leg decals look a bit small, but otherwise, it's fantastic! That's an official Lego head? It seems too perfect a match... anyway, great job, I love it. I can't wait to see the crowbar!

I.A.: Here you go. That's the best pic ever, it was my desktop for a while. :D
And here is the Wikipedia article for him.

Great job!

I agree with the general concensus, but otherwise, awesome job!

This is once again some spot on work Maniac. Too bad you had to go with the "geeky" old hair piece, but you have to go with what is available. That's not criticism, just hoping that some day there will be a more modern hair piece to work with. I would also like to see some black outlining for more definition. Especially between the upper torso and the abdomen section. Again, great job VM!

Looks nice, Viking!
As others suggested, I think it could use some bolder lines in there, but other than that (I didn't see the legs, computer stopped loading above 5 minutes in.(Would you mind giving a smaller picture?)) I don't see anything wrong with him.
That head fits him so well!

Excellent work! The shading on the decals is a very nice touch. What to show us that crowbar too? I think it 's quite significant in the HL universe.

So how about those combine soldiers? :)

Sorry for taking so long to reply all, my internets been down >:(

I will be making another version, with bigger leg decals and another torso, but I do like the torso decal though.

Combine? Only if you like Mushedupsculpy-ine ;)

Nice custom VM!  Could I suggest using waterslide decals instead of the applied texture?  Great job otherwise!

Ooh my first feature :D I feel so loved :P

Ok I have finished work on my new much more awesome decal and I have infact put it on the fig, but as usual fate seems to like playing with my mind and the decals ground up on the legs and ripped. Dag. Also my decals always come out terribly, and so those who have had their decals printed proffesionaly can you tell me how to apply and how the quality is? Thanks

P.S, here is the decal.
