Are, you, kidding me! Two days after I ordered my first order, you release this beautiful thing? Man, bad timing! (I'm sure you don't remember, but I ordered 2 Sniper rifles, 2 M23's, and two more sets of guns. I also recieved the Dark Blue SOCOM M23 as my free weapon)

Vidgamer, bummer about the timing!  I just got the helmets and I was so excited to add them to my product catalog, that I didn't have a chance to post any teaser pics ahead of time.

Tell you what - I'll add a free helmet to your next BrickArms order, ok?  Just leave a note for me in your order payment, or in an email, and I'll see you get hooked up.

The chances are slim-to-none on that.

If I were to cast, I would probably end up using whatever I had laying around as a casting material, and "Laughy Taffy" candy may not be the best choice.

I expect that if the taffy helmet somehow happened to hold its shape, any minifig soldier that had to wear the lavender, grape-smelling helmet, would be popped in record time by my Armothe-M1935-helmet-equipped german soldiers toting MP40s & Panzerfausts.

It sounded like this wasent going to happen, so congrats and thanks =P

You gotta be honest with us Will, how are you affording all these new releases? I realize I'm preaching to the choir, but that stuff ain't exactly cheap. How many kids are you down to by now? ;)

Not black? Now my S.P.E.C.T.R.E. soldiers will feel left out. ; )
Awesome helmet, but I'm having a bit of trouble understanding something... it says that you did not design or produce this helmet on your site, so are you casting them for someone else? In any case, these are awesome. Might have to get a few on my next order.

Aburnett, I didn't cast these.  They are injection molded.  I got tired of having to buy entire sets just to get a couple of blasted helmets, so I went right to the source, and entered into an agreement to resell them.

Eventually, I'll design and produce my own helmets, but  acquiring these was the quickest route to equipping my WW2 US GI forces.

The shipping is calculated depending on your location, and the weight of the items purchased.   My shipping costs have increased, so my shipping charges have adjusted as well.

For example: The Boom Box grenade crate weighs 1/2 ounce which is about 20 times heavier than a single gun!  So, the calculated shipping cost is reflected.

Additionally, any international package has custom forms to be hand-filled, and shipping costs more to international addresses, and so forth, and so on.   Any other vendor selling internationally will have similar issues, and assign prices accordingly.

I purposefully designed my shopping cart and checkout system to automatically detect your country, and let you know your shipping choices and costs as you add to your order .  I hate sites that won't tell you the shipping cost until you checkout.  That's just lazy programming as far as I'm concerned.  On my site you are always informed of your shipping choices and there are no hidden 'gotchas'.

Sweet helmets! I was on your website the night you put those on. I was looking at the weapons and went to the home page to find uzi briefcases and M1 helmets. I'm so excited to order some. Awesome job man!

Are you gonna be selling some WWII GI's too? I saw the tan one in your Brickshelf and I really like it.

Yup.  Once I get enough sand-green base minifigures for the decals.  Sand green is harder to get than I thought!  The Doc-Oc, and Professor Snape minifigs seem to be the only source for them.  If you know of a good source for 100 or so sand-greenies, let men know, ok?  Otherwise, I'll have to go with tan, and dark gray.  My decal is neutral enough to work well with most appropriate torso colors.

Now, I'm waiting for someone to say "Hey Will, are you going to paint the helmets OD green?".  In 3-2-1..

I found you 21 sand green legs! Unfortunately, no torsos. Here's de link: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=nino

I still like the tan and hope you make some of those also.

Here's a place for the torsos.  You may have to but the figure (harry potter i belive) but i'm sure that you could find something to do with the extra pieces.
