I saw this over at Kam's earlier. Yet another fine piece of artwork from our friend. I just can't get over the elegant lines.

what's the difference between normal heads and arealight heads?

Yep, saw this beauty over at Kam's as well. I just love Arealight's work, he is a true master.

Arealight is the customizer who made this head.

It's a custom Twilek head piece.

Wow.....This is awsome.  I've never seen anything to compare with the aww I'm currently experiencing.  It's just so beutiful (tear drips down cheek) it's just great and will probably be one of the most treasured peices by all star wars customizers.

Yes, that is what Jared says that Arealight will  be working on some accessories for the head- How cool is that! Plus, it accepts most Lego visors.

I dont see why you guys think its so great, it does not even have a face? You could put a face decal on it though.

You do have to put the face decal on, and tell me this, why would he put a face decal on, when he molds the headpiece the face decal would not show up on the new headpiece.

Great mold, i think that piece will sell like hot cup cakes! Does he have it in multiple colours?

by Order66 on Fri, 03/16/2007 - 09:27
I hope he does and he probably will. If he does ima get a blue to make Aayla secura!!!

Love it! I want one! It will be so much easier than modifying a normal headpiece.

You could modify this piece to make a Kit Fisto head/lekku.

Obviously it is designed to have a face decal on it. What really makes it great is that is a hand-crafted piece. From the outset it might look like a  simple piece but the more you know about what went in to it's creation the more respect you have to have for it. At least that's my opinion anyway.

It truly is a great piece of MOCing.  Arealight had shown me a "work in progress" version a while back, and that alone took my breath away.  Great to see the final version turned out so beautiful.

Great job, Arealight!

Arealight is working on perfecting his mold and his colors. When he is ready, they will be available in his Bricklink store which is in our Recommended Vendors section.
