i cant link please help

if this belongs somewhere else sorry. but i am forced to use work computer. cant read everything i would like and cant seem to find answer i need. ive posted on brickshelf but cant seem to link to this site. im sure i probably read it already but do to time problems(work computer).either cant find it again or am missing a step. im eager to share my work and look forward to trying things learned here. so if someone could either answer my question directly or point me to correct post i would appreciate it. not sure if blind crazy or just computer illiterate thanks.
