Strength of LEGO pieces

by legobattledroid123 (Brick Talk)
Well I just wanted to bring up the point that certain LEGO pieces happen to be stronger than others. The standard LEGO hand is very strong but hooks, for instance break more easily (also talk about LEGO sets and if they need improving or not).

I've never had a hook break. Actually, I've had -very- few LEGO pieces break in all my years. The simple fact of the matter, however, is that LEGO pieces are very small pieces of plastic. That means that they can and will break from time to time. But to point a fact, I collect action figures as well, and I've had more action figures -- big pieces of plastic -- break than LEGO pieces. That definitely says to me that LEGO pieces are quite sturdy for their size.

Frankly, I don't understand the point of this topic at all. Sometimes tiny plastic pieces break? Really? Well that's a revelation, isn't it. Since this topic has no point, I'm locking it.
