What do you think about the 2008 star wars lego sets?

I have very much ideas:
Episode I:
We have enough but if there are no Qui Gon figs released 2007 I want a Set with him.
And also a Queen Amidala fig.
Episode II:
I think 2008 will de the year of AOTC or ROTS and there will be surely a remake of the Republic Gunship.
Heres my list:
-Republic gunship with some new jedis and clonies
-AAT with red droids
-Geonosis arena set with the beasts and also a Jango, Mace, the trio(Ani,Obi,Padme) and maybe some jedis
-Dookus solar jet
-maybe a set with cloniers

EpisodeIII:
-If there aren't any Republic Gunships of Epi2, then a Gunship with these jedi masters:
 Agen Kolar
 Saesee Tiin
 Kit Fisto
 Mace Windu
Here is the reason why these jedis:  Before the scene of the confrontation with Palpatine,
we can see during a discussion between Anakin and Mace these jedis going in a Gunship
and it would be great to have these cool jedis!
-Bail Organas speeder:
Bails speeder with a lot of minifigures:
Darth Vader
Bail Organa
3 501st Clones
Zett Jucassa
and maybe Cin Drallig
-Yoda vs. Sidious set:
Yoda, Sidious and some senate-things
-Plo Koons Starfighter without Hyperdrive ring but with Plo and Ki Adi Mundi
-Republic Attack Cruiser:
The Highlight of 2008 with Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura and 5 Shocktrooper
-A Utapau set with Obi Wan and Cody, 2 yellow/orange troopers and crap droid and Grievous and 2 SBDs
Episode IV-VI:
-Endor Bunker set with Endor-Han/Leia/Luke, 1-3 Ewoks and some scout troopers with bike
-Snow trooper battle pack
-Imperial battle pack with not only stormies -> with DS trooper too
-Tantive IV with Leia, 4 Rebel troopers, Vader and 2 stormies
-maybe a Millenium Falcon with the same figs from the UCS set plus R2D2, C3PO and Lando with Nien Nunb



I know these are too much but it's just an idea...

And Obi Wan was already in a set too, does that mean he shouldn't be in the new Jedi Starfighter? Of course not, everybody(well, most people) don't like it when a fig they like is only in one set. I know I wouldn't mind having a second Kit Fisto… -Devin

Interesting...HS-CH has alot of ideas. I really hope they make a new and approved republic gunship with episode 2 clones. Maybe somthing like the MTT... you know what i mean 20 clones :P. I really need episode 2 clones i dont have any yet. Oh yea and rebels because they didnt make to many sets with rebel troops

I think the invisible hand would be a good one (grievous capital ship), think of all the droid possibilities. I also agree on a remake of the AT-AT.

Geonosian Picador. It would come with Geonosian without wings  and a spear, a geonosian with wings,and  a new lego Orray that the geonosian could ride on.

Geonosian Cis Battle pack. it would come with 5 sand brown battle droids, 2 geonosians with wings and gun. and a sonic turret

And Hoth battle packs go to my topic Ah yes the snowtroopers for more details.

Although we have to get serious here I know that there not going to make all these eleborate things like eeth koth and a set with 20 Epi2 clones. And the Snowtrooper battle packs are my Idea which was first said on my thread Ah yes the Snowtrooper.

I think a Republic Attack Cruiser would be really awesome with 10-15 501st Clones.
It would be cooler than a Gunship with 10-15 AOTC clones.

A Republic Gunship with more figs than the last one would be expensive. The Gunship was $90, the new MTT is going to $100(I think the last one was $50), so a new Gunship is would be close to $200. Are we willing to pay that, or would we like another $90(with clones instead of droids this time) and maybe some Ep. II battle packs? Those battle packs would be like 4 clones and a little rocky outpost and the other would be 2 SBDs, a BD, and a Geonosian with a little outpost or turret. -Devin

lego Battle droids are less expensive to manufacture in lego, Clones are so If they did do 10-15 it would cost a amazing amount of money. 8 Clones are more reasonable but still a great amount

I wonder if we can tell lego about our ideas. Like all those battle packs people were talkin about (snow trooper , AOTC etc), and maybe some other interesting ideas. I dont want anything to big cause money doesnt grow on trees. I know they will make a republic gunship but we could request a number amount of clones that they could thrown in preferably episode 2 because episode 3 clones are already in battle packs. just an idea...

I think Mos Eisley Cantina minifig pack would be great. Imagine all the minifigs it could come with: Duros, Greedo, main characters (Han, Luke, Obi, Droids), Dr. Evazan, Panda Baba, and more... I can't even list them all. But there are a lot of aliens in Mos Eisley. And, yes, like everyone's been saying, we NEED a rebel/imperial fig battle pack. It's not a matter of debate. We just do. I'd really like to see them do some stuff from Knights of the Old Republic. I mean, they've done SOME expanded universe, with the Imperial Landing Craft and the Tie Crawler. The Ebon Hawk would be SO awesome! Lastly, I had an intersting idea... You know how when you're shopping for clothes on the internet, and you get to select your color? What if it was like that for certain Lego sets, like Jedi Starfighters (Ep. II and III), and Republic Gunship? (For the RGS, it could come with the clone wars ARC livery. You know, the dragon paint?) Cause not all ships are the same color! Like for Slave 1, they'd have to make 2 different sets. It'd be a lot simpler if you could just choose a color. Just an idea...

That would be a good Idea for SOME sets such as the jedi starfighter. But What I really want is some aliens! heres my main Idea's

1# Geonosian picador, definition: Geonosian pcadors are geonosians that work at the arena to maintain the beast, they can be seen jabbing the arena monsters with a electric spear while mountain a species of orray. http://www.theorderofinitiative.co.uk/acatalog/CS_43_GeonosianPicadoronOrray.jpg Now for my Idea this would come with a geonosian without wings BUT with a different torso, and maybe a new more greenish skin colour so it would not effect the other geonosian rare factor. The geonosian would come with a pearl gray spear and the set also would include a new lego orray. The assembly of it would be like a horse except wider, no tail, a reptillian head along with retillian legs and feet.

2# Geonosian spire, it would come with a cool table with a hologram like feature of the battle of geonosis, some control panels. and It would come with some seperatists!  Such as Nute Gunray, Rune Hako, San Hill(maybe) Count Dooku, Poggle the lessar, And Sun Fac. And of course it cannot be only that small because then it would be cheap and people would only buy  because who would want a army of seperatists so if someone could please tell me a ship that a seperatist would have.

3# Geonosain droid battle pack, It would come with simply four geonosian battle droids, two super battle droids, and a dwarf spider droid, and to increase the price factor two geonosian  STAPS.

4# Episode Two clone battle pack, it could come with two normal clones, one red clone and one clone commander with a speeder bike and turret.

PREETY MUCH WHAT I WANT IS MORE SETS TO DO WITH GEONOSIS

I think it's kind of annoying how all of the SW sets are vehicles... and there aren't any buildings or dioramas like there are in other themes like Castle and Harry Potter. I mean, yeah, vehicles are the main part of Star Wars, but still. I think we should have more building/dioramas like they did with the Cloud City set. I liked that! Like, a little mini Death Star (dare I say it) playset (*shudders*) might actually be kind of cool, with Stormtroopers and Luke and Han. Lars Homestead, Echo Base, Theed Palace (under attack w/ Maul), Jedi Temple (RotS Anakin slaughter style, with 501st troopers!), and I like Lost Lego's idea of the Geonosis Spire. Anyway... yeah. Thought I'd throw that out there.

Dont worry there making a hoth playset its kinda like buildings i am guessing they will throw some in there with turrents and minifigures but all you need is a lil patience and it will come to you ;)
