Clone Commanders: Bacara, Thire, Faie, 501st

I finally got the helmets done for these guys.  They've been in the works for forever but it seems like I spend more time making helmets for other people than for me.  So this weekend I fixed that.

All the decals are from Kaminoan and all the cloth accessories are from mmcb.  The helmets, all of them, are my own casts.  I used testors white spray paint on them and I think it's the best white match yet (looks better than in the pics).  It's very smooth and it's now how I'm doing all my helmets.

I hope you all like these!  I've got about 30-40 more figs in the works and some you should be seeing by next weekend.  And while I'm at it.... any requests?

I think Thire is my favorite(with Bacara in a close second), the orange color looks really good on him. Some of the paint isn't perfect, but its way better than I could do and probably looks way better in person(like most things). 30-40 wow...and some by next weeken- oh boy! Good job Rec. -Devin

Pac, on most them very little is painted.  The visors are even decals!  Only the little slots on the back of the helmets and the inverted V on the front are painted.  Since my eyes can't see the detail to paint like they used to I am trying to use decals more often.

Awesome I always love the casting work you do, and the detail on the helmets are super and the application of the decal are flawless.  My fav would be Commander Thire, just love the way he came out. 30-40 figs someone is building a brickwar army (LOL)

nice... a triple post, don't you read rules CD? and why have you put pointless comments... who moderates this forum? can someone kinda... merge his posts in together. anyway, lovely work as always Recluce, boy am i glad to be on a forum with you, anywa, your amazing skills still impress us all, even the Old Skool (see they are really hip, because it is spelt with a K), genius huh, anyway, keep it up and show us more!

Wow these look great! I lve the 501st custom, and commander Faie, great work on all of them. And if I were you I would make around 30-40 of the 501st instead ;).

Meh, I've never really liked the 501st like everyone has.  I'm more into making many different figs, instead of a ton that all look the same.  How dull that would be.  I like variation.
