Veeray Squad - 10k Hits Edition, Part One

by Vidgamer838 (Minifig MOC's)

Hey Everyone!

Long time members may remember when I started this. New ones won't, but that is completely fine! These have been in-the-works for over six months now. After three sets of decals and three sets of weapons they've reached their final state. I painted all the helmets, all the guns are custom made in some way, and all decals were made in adobe illustrator. I don't do this very often but because these are unique sig-figs, their decals will not be available for download (PM me if you're really interested in having them). However, the previous versions of the decals are on my brickshelf. I'll provide links to those later. Anyways, the squad!

<---Click for the gallery, the squad is on page two.

Squad Bio: Veeray squad was formed shortly after the formation of the Galactic Empire. Trained for operations on hazerdous environments, these are second in command next to imperial commandos (Future customs? *SPOILER*). They serve the galactic empire doing the dirtywork the average soldier isn't expected to take care of.

Commander Croan is a former ARC trooper. He was a lesser-known combatant in the clone wars, but had a strong influence in the battle of Haruun Kal. He now serves as the leader of veeray squad. He carries custom dual blasters.

The Veeray troopers are clones bred in a similar fashion that republic commandos once were trained. There is an assault thooper and a sniper that usually accompanies Croan. The assault trooper carries DC-19 anti-armor attachment. The sniper carries a standard issue imperial sniper rifle, with several modifications increasing power and range.

The decals are in these two folders:

2nd Generation

I'll post part two of my 10k Hits Edition Customs tomorrow.

Awsome!  The decals look great on the figs.  What kind of fabric is that, and where can it be found?   Very cool, I can't think of a way you can improve them(except waterslide decals).

Great job VG i remember when these were just a idea now look at them! Completly done i think you did a great job exept for the helms theres just to much black so it dosent blend in with the decals because theres alot more red than black in the decals. So if you were to add some dark red designs on the helm it would look awsome. Other than that they look great so once again nice job.

Very nice looking decals, they printed out really sharp!  I like the colors but agree with Null, too much black on the helmet.  Add some more paint, similar to the green on Gree's helmet.  Or perhaps like a shock trooper?  Waterslide decals would improve things but for stickers these look rather good.  The waistcape is nice, but I do not like the dual pistols the commander is using, they look too bulky.

Unfortunately, I'm not known to be a huge fan of StarWars (fan, yes. big fan. no.), but the decals look damn sharp and really good.

I agree that more colours on the helmet would improve it greatly.

That's very good (I like the regular troopers), but it all sorta blend together when it is all monotonous black.

Lego123, those helmets have a T shaped hole in them, and a red head underneath.

Outstanding work Vid. Very impressive, though I must agree with NULL11ARC. The helmet seems too black to really fit the design.
