Nice job, the hemet could be more semetrical though. But indeed a very originl concept and worked really well, how about a pick of him being slaughtered by gimli, lol.

Those are very good sculpts, I especially like the sword. Better pictures would be appreciated, like a closeup of the helm on a white head, so we can see the cutouts a little clearer? If the face is as cool as the helmet, you'll have the mose kickin' Uruk Hai I've ever seen!

Sadly my army will probably never compliment 10,000 uruks, as that's 500 times larger than the army above. As for my next move I will finish my Gimli and Legolas, the final pieces have finished molding this morning so I can probably finish this week.

I made a clay version

I made a clay version molded. After the mold solidified I removed the clay one and poured the plastic and let it sit for 5min, when it harded I pulled it out and fixed any deformities. I do this for the sword shield and helmet. finally I add decals to face, body (front and back), legs, arms, and a white hand on the shield.

That's all there is to making an uruk hai.

I don't know, I think it accurately protrays what a Urak would look like, armor produced quickly en masse by hand isn't going to come out perfect...

I really like it. I agree a black body would look amazing, and you should definately apply the face decal, and get an armor decal with white hand on it. Awesome Urak Hai, man!

I would love to make a vig but, I don't have the uruks anymore and I can't make more because the printer is out and I am low on plastic. Still it is a good idea and would look pretty awesome.
