great lego find

by Legofreak (Brick Talk)

Lately I have been really limiting myself to custom figs. and picking up stuff at yard sales, and thrift stores.

My mom found this bag for ten bucks the other day. I weighed it and it was 25 lbs. most of it is soccer and movie, so I got some neat stuff there. A LOT of harry potter stuff. Maybe some hundred or so minifigs and accesories?
Here are some of the highlights though -
Now there is one more classic knight around here in perfect condition with the others, but I think he got mixed in with my castle dudes. - I can't believe that they were all in there. I had the visor and helmet for the one classic knight, but that body, axe and armor came in the bag. the armor is missing the back sticker but the front one is in awesome shape.
I always wanted one of these.
and one of these too!
I couldn't believe my luck in finding this!
and it even had the CD in there! Unfortunately for
some reason it wouldnt play in my CD drive. :D

Just thought I'd share this with y'all

Well, that's just about the best bargin find I've ever heard of - 10 cents per minifig, including classic (and we're talking classic here) castle figs, and $2.50 per lb of Lego.  That's a hair shy of giving it away.

Actually, the Jurassic Park III Spinosaurus was one of my childhood favorites.  Alas, parents didn't pick that one up for me, so it was the first Bricklink item I ever bought.

Congratulations on the find, Freak!

Just email the lego company for a new disk, thats what I did when I upgraded my compy, now it works like a charm.

Wow, those classic knights were a l;ucky find, I don't even have any of them.

That is terrific, Patrick!

It's finds like these that keep me going to yard sales, alas, I have never found such an amazing deal, though, my best find of all was the Knights Kingdom I castle for just one dollar!

Once again, congrats, I bet you are still thanking your mom for this one. :-D
