Need help making a custom bow

by Feanor2114 (Tips, Techniques & Questions)

I'm trying to make a custom bow.  Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, or tips? I'm trying to make an old english like bow out of sculpey that doesn't look like I just copied a lego bow and changed one thing, but i don't want to modify or accidentally ruin an already an existing bow.

Feanor - you need to add more to your post than this. Not only does it border on violating the Quality Content policy, but it does not merit any kind of comment from any of the members. There isn't enough detail.

What are you planning on making - what kind of bow? What materials are you going to use? Do you intend/want to customize an existing bow (like the standard LEGO bow or the MCN-Store longbow)? What style do you want to make - a recurve bow, a composite-style bow, something else? If you don't add more here so that people can actually answer your question meaningfully, I'll be deleting your post, since it serves no purpose.

I'll give you time to come back online and fix it. Use the 'Edit' tab above your post to add content.

Just FYI, Red Bean makes a fantastic bow, also, I jsut did a search on brickshelf and there's a few good ideas you should look at.  Here's the link:  http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=bow&stype=dfic
