MCN grows stronger with SIX new Moderators!

Hope to see a couple of you guys more active since you are moderators now. (Mainly Legofreak, Damien, and Pharazon.)

I've been a Moderator on a few sites and, in my experience, it's actually a bit of the opposite. Very few people have unlimited time to mess around on the Internet. That means that once you become a Mod, more of your Internet time is devoted to moderating duties rather than posting. So Mods tend to actually be less active overall, in terms of joining conversations and making posts not related to enforcing site regulations. Hopefully we can all find a good balance of enforcing the rules and still having time to post where we'd like in a more unofficial capacity.

Which is functionally the same. Nitpicking won't get you anywhere. If I say I want a cookie, is that truly so different from saying 'I'd like to have' a cookie? They mean the same thing. The latter is simply a more subtle request. Either way, the MCN now has 8 Moderators, 1 "Over-Mod" (Recluce) and at least four Administrators (Red, Kam, Armothe, Ramus). I strongly doubt there will be any new recruits for quite some time. Even if the site doubles in membership, we could probably still all take care of things in a timely fashion.

How about we all just forget I said that ok? I wasent meaning I want someone to blurt out "hey null why dont you be a mod " and make me one i was just saying i would like to be one and work my way up in the futre and i know how damien said its the same but i didnt mean it that way. I am sorry if i made it sound that way i dont want to be a baby and beg to be a mod. so once again sorry and congrats to you new mods again.

Or maybe you're -my- henchy. Or maybe we're both Rec's henchies. That's a concerning thought. But if we are. . . does that also make us ninja? I've always wanted to be a ninja. Heeee-yah!

Part of the master plan is that with so many mods we won't be overworked and will still be able to enjoy the forums.  I hope to get back to the forums, as it seemed there for a while that all I had time for was Modding.

Ramus was working on a special MCN thing last night.... I'll have to sugest to him that it include a shiny ninja squad badge.

and,yeah,I think with all the Mods here now we will all have some extra 'forum time'.
