I finally finished my General Grievous custom (it turns out that the dremel is pretty easy to use once you get it out) and put it on Ebay as a charity listing where 100% of the final bid will got to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. Click on the picture to see the auction.

I made it silver because it looks cooler than just gray or white.

You might want to take a armor or droid decal and put it on him.

The charity is in Israel and here is their site. I didn't want to use a decal because I don't have the right printer, an advanced application kit, time, or money for all of this.

P.S. Thanks Emily

I think it's very kind hearted of you asherpotter, and to all who think it's wierd having a silver generel grievous, think of it as a "deluxe addition" ; )

You are one of the kindest people I have ever met. Most people who sell customs just sell and take the money out on the markets. I am very suprised that you would do this and, I think everyone here at MCN could learn a thing or two from you. Keep up the kind hearted work and I love the silver. It is a delux addition, just as viking said.

There are always some little things we can do to help others, we just need to make the right choices. Charity is something we all should do more often.

I thank you, asherpotter, for being such an outstanding member of our community and a good person. Currently, I am unable to bid on the auction (otherwise I certainly would), but I will do what I can - promote the topic to the front page. It's a great custom and I am sure it will do nicely on eBay.

=D Yay! Another valid point! But I'm afraid that as much as I like it, I won't be allowed to bid on it, but I surely would, as I love four armed figs! But I hope you get a lot of proceeds, and that people follow in his example.

That is a great custom and it is very generous! You put some time in to making that and then you sell it but the money goes to charity instead. And Gold lightsabers?I have never seen those before.

Wow... How in the world did this get resurrected? Anyways, joejoe8151, I used a dremel tool with a very smal bit at first on the side of the fig just under the other original hole and gradually moved to larger bits. Then I cut off two-thirds of the top of the legs and glued them to the fig and it is still fully posable. For those who want to know, someone in Maine bought it for $51.00.

I hope they weren't expecting a new medical wing. I doubt the bid will be substancial, but a very thoughtful and generous idea.
