Dino 2010

I was wondering what everyone here thought of it. I like it as I liked the previous dinosaur sets.

I got the 4x4 set yesterday.

which specific set are you reffering to though?

the  Dino 4wd tracker it's sweet but the dinosaurs are budget I like the big one's in the other sets though

oh that one yeah its well cool the car/truck thing looks like one of jurrasic park the original if yu change the colurs to green and red mabye that should be your next project!

yeah I prefer the old dinos.some of the new ones are made out of rubber. I never noticed the dragons but when I look i think the bionicle thing looks funny.I like the new dino in the two most expensive sets, It's huge.

and the samll ones are rubber what are lego thinking of used to be the plastic toy now the rubber toys what next rubber minifigs!!!

I was thinking that a while a go but a strong rubber minifig would be sweet you could make it bounce all over the place.I never knew it had glowing eyes. I dont like all tha new light up rubbish but i still like huge black dinosaurs.

I'm not big on the actual.. mutant.. dinosaur.. things... but the sets are actually really awesome. Hummers.. quads.. big combat helicopters.. and really cool figures.

I'm actually going to get these sets.. and swipe some MegaBloks Command Ops weapons to go with them -- instant special ops guys.

Yeah, I don't know what being a purist has to do with new LEGO sets. As long as they are manufactured by the Lego Group, they fall within the parameters of 'okay for purists.'

And what on earth is a purist doing on a minifig customization website?


And jkk: Rather than posting a single line of vapid commentary.. why don't you try explaining your position? Your opinion is a lot more valid if you take the time and energy to back it up with something.

LOL, well, anyway, about the dinos, well...its weird. I think the sets are great, but the idea of mutant lazer eyed dinos, well, isn't the best idea so far that legos had. But i definitely like how they actually made guns.(expect for the part with the names... (quintonic soinc blaster? WHAT IS THAT?)

Meh, about the figures, i don't like their names, or how they look. And, the dinos are really cheap looking.

I stand corrected. I had a look at the site and it had the names and such.I perfer to give them names that I chose. for example I have VIPER but I called him Mad Mike because of his facial expression.

 um guys is it just becuase i live in the USA that when i ordered my dino attack sets they DO NOT SAY DINO 2010! they are called dino attack, i have the sets! just look in lego magizine, or shop at home in the USA!

I think the sets look awesome, but the dinosaurs....are...quite...pathetic...
at least the vehicles will brighten my mood !  ^_^
