They haven't yet said what the sets will be, or how many. I think it'll be some months yet before we even see some prototype designs.

Anyway if they do make the batmobile, i hope its the one from the cartoon, that one was the best,

but please, anything but the original 1980's version, i would rather...try to cut myself with lego swords!

I would certainly prefer to see one of the older styles of Batmobile rather than that new one. Despite how cool it was.. it just didn't feel Batman-ish.

Luckily, Batman has enough vehicles and enemies to keep LEGO busy for years to come.

    Out of curiosity, has it been confirmed that these sets are based on Burton's films? That would certainly be my preference, but I believe one of the points of infamy of Batman Returns is that companies that purchased the license for merchendising that films where less than happy when Burton delivered a dark, often violent film ("Batman, right? So like POW and ZAP . . . we can sell that, sure"). I'd be somewhat shocked if the upcoming LEGO sets were entirely grounded in the Burton films. Perhaps a combination of elements between the comic, Burton, and cartoon designs.

    Myself, I want a Dark Knight Returns line with the Bat-tank and an Armored Batman vs Superman.
